CJ7
I bought my 1978 CJ7 Jeep on my birthday in my late 30s.It was my wife's idea. She knew I had wanted a CJ7 for a long time, but we always need a more family-oriented car. Now that the kids were older, she felt better about the purchase. The Jeep doesn't have many (any?) of the bells and whistles that cars of today have. Its greatest value is that it is 'rugged.' Extremely rugged. Just that it is 44 years old, running and in good condition is a testament to that fact.
